About Us
God has given Steve and Lynn Parks, founders of Eagle's Lift, a great vision and plan to bring the love of Christ to all people. It does not matter your age, gender, religious denomination or ethnic background, we all have something in common! One time or another we come in contact with people who are hurting or we ourselves at one time or another will experience hurt. Hurting people are everywhere, inside and outside of the church walls, but God loves us all the same. When one member of our community stumbles and falls, believe it or not, everyone is affected. There are some that seek help, but what about those that do not seek help? Better yet, those who are so caught up in their situation that they don't even realize they need help. If everyone is affected, then wouldn’t it be great if everyone played a part in the solution (browse the site to see how you fit in). It's time we rise up as a community and become proactive, as opposed to being reactive to the hand we are delt within our culture.
The girls generally arrive with a helpless and hopeless feeling. Our goal is to enfuse in them a tangible realization that they can move from a victim to a VICTOR mentality. By the time they leave our facility, our hope is that they will have the realization that they have a unique purpose in life and with Christ as their leader, they will be equipped to take charge of the rest of their life. As healing takes place in the individual, they will be transformed from one who relies on the community to meet their needs to one who contributes to building a better and stronger society.
